Paul and I drove to Maryland for a kayaking adventure but we missed the closing time so we had to make it back on to the old stand by.

Dreaming is an understatement.

Easter Break and Talley and the Bear

Easter weekend was a trip to the wonderful world of Lake Lure, NC. Talley and I had a great time but 8 hours of driving each way was a little painful. Mom had a wonderuful Easter and I got to spend some great time in the mountains of AVL.

Talley enjoyed the bear rug.. I swear she knew what is was.

Spring Time

The rust is starting to fall off my legs and I am starting to consistently run on weekly basis. I have a pretty busy job and it has a way of distracting me from my true love of the outdoors. I have made an exciting schedule for the summer to include kayak festivals, climbing Mt. Baker, Adams, and Rainer, and multiple trail runs.

Talley is doing well and recovering after her surgery. However, she is starting to show the signs of age (13.5 years).

I am looking forward to these summer adventures and making changes in my life to allow me to accomplish goals beyond my reach.

CONSISTENCY is the key word for accomplishing goals which I have seem to struggle with but the desire from within allows one to grow beyond his own measure.

I have many friends who inspire me with their blogs and accomplishments.

I will keep pushing forward.
